All of our trainers here at Superior Image take pride in helping and guiding you throughout the training process so that you can reach your goals. We have both male and female trainers available for all ages. All of the trainers listed below have been hand picked because of their knowledge and skill levels, exceptional personalities and commitment to their clients goals. After following a program with one of our trainers, you will have more energy, feel happier and more confident and become more excited about your life again.

Stephen Mills
     Superior Image Personal Fitness is owned and operated by Stephen Mills, an achieved athlete in many sports as well as an established member in the business community. A native Floridian, Stephen is ISSA certified with degrees in Business, Marketing and Information Technology. His combined years of practical business experience plus having been involved with fitness his entire life make Stephen a prime candidate to bring you a high end yet affordable service that will change your life! Not bound by the constraints of corporate bureaucracy, Stephen prides himself as an honest, community minded entreprenuer who genuinely enjoys helping people and making a difference in those lives around him. Stephen's care and enthusiasm for his clients enable him to realize his goals everyday to run the best, most exciting and effective Private Studio Gym at the beach!
Melissa Rice
Melissa Rice
     Melissa graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with a B.S. in Exercise Science and a minor in Coaching. She played softball at a local Jr. College while working towards her A.S. in Physical Education, and has always been on a strength and conditioning program using Olympic lifts. Melissa has been personal training for 8 years and certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM), and USA-Weightlifting Club Coach. She has helped coach Olympic Weightlifting club teams, and coached many athletes to improve their performance and prevent injury in their sport. Melissa also works with post rehab individuals and can help anyone reach their specific goals and desires. She loves helping people incorporate fitness and healthy eating habits into a lifestyle change. More importantly training the mind to overcome obstacles through daily life and giving her clients the confidence and self-esteem to know they can do anything they set their minds to.  She has competed in a half marathon in ’08 as well as bodybuilding competitions in 2007 and 2009. To quote Melissa, "I love watching the anatomy of the human body change. I love motivating and pushing beyond what we think our limits of the physical body can handle."

Jeanne Colesanti

Jeanne Colesanti

     As a busy wife and mother of two children, ages 8 and 10 y/o, Jeanne Colesanti is passionate about maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle as a role model for her family. She has been athletic throughout her life and always a competitor, involved in sports and fitness which eventually became a career to date.
     From 2003-2010 Jeanne competed in many local figure competitions, qualifying twice in National Physique Committee (N.P.C.) bodybuilding shows. Over 15 years of strength and resistance, core and stability, cardiovascular and interval, diet and nutritional implementation has well equipped Jeanne towards joining our team as one of our expertise, superstar trainers specializing in figure/body shaping and sculpting a womanly physique. Check out her testimonal page of clients both male n female who have been well satisfied with their results and all displayed total body transformations as a result.
     Jeanne prides herself in keeping her clients happy, motivated and determined to accomplish their goals. Through creative routines utilizing: cables, free weights, hammer strength, bosu, medicine ball, all being equipment allowing Jeanne to engage every muscle fiber and continually keep her clients refreshed and aspiring towards their goal, minus the monotonous typical gym-style training. Clients can rest assured that through every set and each repetition Jeanne is with them, every step of the way. Daryl Sattler

Daryl Sattler
  Originally from Memphis, TN. Daryl comes to Superior Image with a stellar Professional Sports, Personal Training, and Coaching background.  He graduated with an Exercise Science degree and a minor in coaching from Western Kentucky University and played soccer for the Division I Hilltoppers in the Missouri Valley Conference.  He was the starting goalkeeper from 2000-2003.  Daryl ranks first or second in every statistical goalkeeper category and currently holds the record for career shutouts with 19.5. 
  After college Daryl moved on to coach NCAA Division I Mens Soccer at David Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN and also became a Certified Personal Trainer.  While in Nashville he played Semi-Professional Soccer for the Nashville Metros along side Superiors own Paul Hopkins and began his personal training career.  He left Nashville and landed in Jacksonville, FL to pursue another coaching opportunity at Jacksonville University with the Mens Soccer program. 
   In 2007 Daryl returned to playing and signed his first Professional Soccer contract with the Atlanta Silverbacks of the United Soccer League.  In 2009, he moved to Wilmington, NC to play for his second Professional Club the Wilmington Hammerheads of the USL.
   Now playing professional soccer for the Tampa Bay Rowdies, Daryl is in season and going strong, but looking forward to his off-season residency at Superior Image so he may continue to pass his knowledge and passion onto others through personal training, speed/agility clinics, sport specific conditioning, bootcamps, group training, and coaching soccer.  He is a big believer in “YOU CAN ALWAYS BE BETTER!”  He also is on staff for the StarGoalkeeperAcademy.com. 

Coree Cuff - Pilates
     Coree Cuff has been involved in the fitness and alternative health industry for close to twenty years.  As a certified Pilates instructor, she has helped numerous clients reach their fitness goals.  She hosts group classes and provides one-on-one training for clients.  She is a graduate of Balanced Body University and believes that a healthy mind is key to a balanced body.
     Pilates is a perfect compliment to any fitness routine or can be a stand along modality for virtually anybody.  Pilates works the core, strengthens and elongates muscles, improves flexibility, creates better joint health, and offers a full body natural work-out.  “After an hour long session with me, every muscle in your body has been worked including the small muscle groups often over looked with traditional weight training,” says Coree.  “My goal is to help you achieve better health and overall well being through Pilates.  And if your goal is to get a more chiseled body, Pilates can do that too.”   
     Coree takes a kinder and gentler approach to exercise -- one that fortifies the mind, soothes the body and engages the soul.  Her body-friendly exercise routines promote an essential mind-body connection, good health and well being. While she strongly believes in physically challenging clients, she does it safely and with a deliberate intensity that gets results.
     Coree is certified to teach beginner, intermediate and advanced mat and reformer Pilates.  Her practice is nurturing yet intense. She offers clients a range of  options from classical Pilates to aromalates, which combines the healing powers of essential oils and the exercise benefits of Pilates.
     Coree works with a variety of clients at all fitness levels -- professional athletes, self identified couch potatoes and everyone in between. Recently, one of her clients wrote:
     “I think the pace of the class and the increments that we are challenged keeps us all interested.  I can tell that I can do things now that I couldn't do in the beginning. Seeing that we can improve and strengthen the muscles by using our bodies has been a good experience for me. Coree is a kind, compassionate and encouraging teacher who respects our ages as well as our limitations so that we can all do our best."

 

Allison Leone - Pole Fitness
     Allison Leone made fitness her profession 2 years ago after leaving the corporate media world.  But her love of physical fitness dates back to 1998 when she took classes in weight training and exercise physiology at Florida State University. Physical Fitness has been a priority in Allison’s life for over 12 years.  She discovered Pole Fitness in 2009 and was intrigued by the beauty and challenge of the sport.  Having tried countless forms of fitness including Pilates, Kick Boxing, Group Aerobics, and Spinning classes, just to name a few, Pole Fitness was the first to not only change her physique, but her self confidence.  Allison has fallen in love with the sport and has opened her pole studio inside of Superior Image Personal Fitness.  She has multiple certifications including Beginner to Advanced Pole Fitness Instructor through VIP Women’s Dance, Group Fitness Instructor through the National Exercise Trainers Association, and Pilates Instructor through Power Pilates.  She is also a member of Pole Fitness Association, American Pole Fitness Association, US Pole Dance Federation, and the Pilates Method Alliance.  For more information on Allison and the classes she offers, please visit www.vfsjax.com


 

Phyllis Brooks

Phyllis Brooks
A native of Jacksonville for 51 years, Phyllis has lived in Atlantic Beach for 26 years. She has been a certified personal trainer thru WITS(World Instructor Training School) for the past 8 years. She has been certified as a group fitness instructor thru AFA (Aerobics & Fitness Association) for 4 years. Certified for Pilates thru Fitour since 2004, Phyllis is CPR certified thru the American Heart Association. Phyllis loves what she does and loves being a part of the Superior Image Family!

 

Jan Boyette
     Jan has been involved in the fitness industry since 1989 and received her first certification for Personal Trainer from International Fitness Professional Association in 1992.  Since that time she has worked with a wide variety of men, women, children and special needs populations.  Jan’s experience has allowed her to develop programs for strength, cardiovascular training, improving and maintaining range of motion and flexibility that accommodate individual needs and limitations.

     As a Licensed Massage Therapist since 1996 Jan is proficient in Swedish and Sports Massage and Deep Tissue Therapy.  She has treated clients with Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, cancer, brain injuries, clinical depression, and soft tissue injuries.

Certifications: Advanced Personal Training, Pilates, Core Training, Flexibility and Senior Fitness. 

Continuing Education: Step Aerobics, Kickboxing for Group Exercise, Abdominal and Back Conditioning, Facilitated Stretching, Low Back and Shoulder Injury, Strength Training for Seniors.

Classes taught at Superior: "Power & Grace" - an hour long class geared towards active adults.
